What stops your self-belief?

You might think it’s strange when I say I have not felt confident to launch my healing publicly. You probably think I am really confident and most of the time you are right I am.  However just like you there are times when I doubt my abilities and don’t step into my power.

As you read on I want you to ask yourself what are you holding back on?  What are you not doing because you doubt yourself? What stops your self-belief?

I share so much openly about my development and how I stepped out of my special closet. I really hope it empowers others to do the same, as it is lonely in that closet!

However, my healings are something that I have been doing for friends and family over the last few years and honestly have taken me somewhat by surprise. I gave healing to my mum who after having a couple of scans as a dark shadow was found and indicated a sinister diagnosis.

I gave her healing every day until she went into hospital to go under anesthetic to have it investigated. When they got in there in the shadow had gone. I totally believe the healing and positive mindset made all the difference.

I have done various other friends, family and my 1:1 clients with various ailments given them instant relief from pain. However, this is totally blows my mind as even as a Reiki Master I have never quite got my head around distance healing.

What is a gift?

A few years I go I was at event and a lady came up to me after I had given my demonstration about Angels. She said to me I have a message for you. She said “The thing that you are most avoiding is the thing that you are most gifted at. I think that you don’t really understand how powerful it will be”.

At the time I wasn’t quite sure what she meant. Okay I’ll be honest I was sure what she meant I knew in my heart of hearts what she meant. I just didn’t really believe it. So why am I sharing this with you?

We all have gifts, things that we are good at.  Things that seem so easy to us we can’t think why anyone else would want us to do it. We may even think everyone can do it too.

We will have abilities and we often don’t allow ourselves to shine. We doubt ourselves. We hold ourselves back from living a potential. Me included. So after many years of “The Upstairs” guiding me to do healings I still kept it really quiet as I didn’t quite understand how it worked.

I mean come on how can I be sat in my office healing someone on the other side of the world and they can feel it.  That’s mad right?

Tame Your Ego

I had to learn to trust it just it just like I do when I’m doing my readings. I don’t know how it really happens and I don’t have to.  Just like when we are manifesting the HOW is never our job. I just need to trust and believe.  I bet you need to trust and believe in you too.

We also need to control our Ego, in one way it’s there to keep us safe.  So mine was telling me don’t be silly Amanda you can’t do that.  People will think your crazy.  It was protecting me from getting hurt and a fear of being judged.

In another way our Ego can makes us conceited.  I had to not fall into the trap of thinking it was really me healing.  As with any healer we are only channeling the energy.

Last year a new guide came in; he is one of the Ascended Masters. He only works with me when I’m healing is the brightest whitest light you’ve ever seen; the purist energy I’ve ever experienced.

When I first met him as a person who doesn’t feel so comfortable with religion I have to admit I was a bit taken aback when I met JC. You might know him as Jesus. Even as I write this I’m astounded never in a million years did I think I would be able to connect with him let alone allow him to work through me.

He has guided me in my 1:1 sessions with my clients to offer healing and slowly but surely even though it’s still blowing my spiritual socks off I am becoming excepting and believing of what is really possible.

This incredible opportunity to heal emotional and physical conditions for people. To remove blocks and align them to the goals.

So now feeling more confident with my gift of healing I have launched them as a stand alone appointment or package.  I know it can help so many of you, in ways that perhaps you expect and do not expect.

I want to leave you with a thought what are you not doing that you should be doing?

What are you doubting? What are you worried about being judged for? What stops your self-belief?

I know from personal experience it’s not easy to get over these things but it’s always easier with your Angel supporting you. How long are you going to stay hidden and let’s face it if you don’t do in this life time you going have to come back and do it again in the next one!
