What I do for “Me Time”
“Me time” isn’t that a bit selfish? No definitely not and as the Angels tell me there is nothing wrong with taking care of you. When you fill up your own cup you have more to give to others. You are giving from a place of the cup overflowing and not a place of resentment.
For me personally “me time” is essential. It re-charges my batteries and stops burn out and means I have an abundance of energy for life and others. Plus, I feel connected to my Angels, fully supported by them and aligned to my goals.
Thankfully, I have a people around me that understand how important that is for me and respect it, but they had to be educated. That education looked messy and uncomfortable back then. When I was short tempered and grumpy because I didn’t have enough to give. Now “me time” is essential and it makes me nicer, calmer more giving person to be around.
