Dear Geoff
Whoops, done it again. My bed seems to have a magnetic pull at the moment and even though my alarm went off a 6 am I reset it again for 7 am, then still couldn’t get up. I am so looking forward to my lie in on Sunday. I think I must be doing a lot of work whilst I am sleeping as I am just so shattered! Yawn, Yawn, Stretch and ahhhhh.
So needless to say I am now running really late and could do with your help to be ready on time. I know I ask this a lot and I have to say and don’t mean to be rude, but there was a time when I thought maybe you had a problem with your hearing, as I clearly said “Please don’t let me be late”. Even though I trusted you would help me I still ended up being late. That was until I realised I don’t think you heard me say the word “don’t”, so you made me late, because that is what you thought I wanted.
So now I have learnt to say “please let me be ready on time” and I know when I do you help all you can. So today as I am making my way into the bathroom, calling out to the kids to wake up, I mentally call to you too and things really start to happen smoothly. I find it seems to take less times showering than usual, I find the clothes I need easily, my hair dries in super quick time, even putting my jewellery on especially my bracelet which as you know can take a few attempts, goes on first time.
Once I get downstairs, I find I have enough time to make a breakfast for the kids, just as I am about to start lunch boxes, they ask can they buy their lunch today. Saving me even more time. So thanks Geoff, even though I got up late and I am ready to leave on time, it was a great start to a great day.
With love and thanks as always A x
