A phrase I absolutely CRINGE when I hear it, because I know how limiting it is and how it blocks people’s manifesting more than they even realise is…….‘I can’t afford it’.
I can remember being about 16 when I first started to really hate hearing this phrase. That was because it came from a lot of my friends who I know could afford something, but used it as an excuse if they didn’t want to do something or wanted to spend that money on something else.
They had no idea how limiting it was when it comes to manifesting especially if that was not really the truth.
I’m not overlooking the fact that poverty is a real thing. Yes, I appreciate that sometimes people are really struggling, that’s totally different to what I’m talking about here.
Ultimately we choose what we spend our money on. I know so many who go on lavish holidays, go out drinking regularly, buy expensive clothing, smoke, go to the butty van every day, eat out regularly etc. Yet these are the same people who will say they can’t afford something. This is not a case of not affording something this is a case of choosing something else as a priority and we all have different priorities.
We all have the power to choose how we spend our money. It is also a choice to increase our income, and be as financially secure as we wish to be, by working on your mindset.
Using phrases such as ‘I can’t afford to do that’ or ‘I don’t have the money for that’ is totally blocking yourself and takes you straight into a poverty consciousness even if that is not the case.
The Universe Will Match
If you are temporarily stuck financially using phrases such as ‘I will be able to afford that soon’ or ‘the money I need is on its way’ is so much more expanding and invites new possibilities in for you. The Universe is always listening and always responding to your vibration if you are saying you can’t afford it, the Universe will match that and I am sure that is not what you want.
There is no judgement we have free will in how we spend our money, but it you want to be more abundant with spare money watch out for the message you are giving out with your words, actions and feelings.
