I am noticing as I am doing my readings for other people, that so many people seem to have had a new Guide step in, whether they have realised it or not.

I love the way synchronicities happen and when we start to focus upon a certain subject more and more of it pops up.  It had keep going through my mind about all these changes with our Guides and I found I kept reading about it or discussing with other spiritual friends that their Guides had changed too.

I can’t help thinking how this must be linked to the changes of 2012, we  thought we had got off lightly but so many spiritual people seem to be having chest and breathing problems and not been able to shake them off.  I know my asthma has been dreadful since beginning of December and still not settled properly yet. It seems we are still adjusting the new energies around us.

I have found it fascinating to hear about two people who have swapped guides.  Obviously, they didn’t organise it but their Guides did.

Spirit Guide

I thought I would use this space to explain a little more about my understanding of Spirit Guides, of course this is based on my experience and how I work with mine and everyone’s may experience them differently.

Your Spirit Guides are different from your Angels.  They can be someone you know or someone you think you have never meet, thought you probably have in a past life.  Your Guides change throughout your life, they come with the expertise you need, and they have guidance to give you, with whatever is going on in your life at the time.

We can connect with our guides just like our Angels by meditation, as this is the key to spiritual development.  Though you may sense them around you at other times too.

I have learnt and I love that we are always doing this, always learning, it never stops.  I have come to realise my Guides are there to guide me, offer me advice and that is exactly what they do.  But I have also learnt they are not there to make my decisions.

The first time this happened was when I was trying to make the decision to give up my shop, my Guides had suggested it and I have to say it felt right, which is a really important point, shame I ignored it at the time!  It took me 6 months to make my decision because I got in the way.

I didn’t trust, it felt scary what if I didn’t get any business because I didn’t have a shop front?  I asked everyone what they thought, I hummed and harred, still none the wiser.  Every time I asked my Guide, they literally stepped back, I couldn’t see them, the most I saw was a pair of feet. I could sense them around me when I was working but when I asked that same question again, nothing, I couldn’t even hear them.  It was like they had given me the information and advice I need, now they were waiting for me to make the decision.

Once the decision was made, they came back in, just as they always had.  I have found this to happen on a few more occasions since, so I honestly believe they are not there to make my decisions but to just guide me.
