5 Things To Do When You Are Feeling Down
We all have them don’t we. The days when our get up and goes, gets up and goes leaving us feeling like we have been hit by a steam roller. Often this time of year the weather doesn’t help, not too mention the worries of the world we are in, our personal issues and the added pressure of Christmas racing towards us all adds to it too.
Who can blame us if we feel like we want to stay under the duvet, safe and warm in our dreams of the life we are striving for.
Believe it or not even as a really up beat positive person I get the odd blue day. My kids will confirm that.
Thankfully, they don’t last too long because I won’t let that negative energy stay around too long, neither will my kids. You see my kids are been brought up on the principles I teach. The Power of Three, which is the ABC for a spiritually abundant and prosperous life.
A – Angels, these will give you the inner peace and strength to deal with life.
B – Belief, using Law of Attraction as what you believe you receive. Along the way though we need to clear our blocks, limiting beliefs and fears so we can align fully to our goals.
C – Connection, remembering we are all connected and also already connected to source. When we are using Law of Attraction it is not about sitting there and waiting for it to turn up it is about following inspired guidance, so you need to know when it is you, “The Upstairs” or your Ego!
Use one of these things you will get some magic in your life, use all three and it becomes a very powerful tool to create the life you have always wanted, but you know this you see it in here every day.
I walk my walk my talk. This is how I honestly live my life and because of this it has the ripple effect and my children do it naturally too as they don’t know any different. This is great as when I am having a down day they know what to suggest to shift it.
Everything you see is a thought and we can always pick a different one. Now I know this isn’t always easy but it is a whole lot easier with your Angel helping you.
So next time you are feeling blue here are my top 5 things to do when you are feeling down:
- Get to the bottom of what is going on. Journaling is particularly useful for this as this will often reveal far more than just thinking about it.
- Meditate with the intention of lifting the mood.
- Listen to some uplifting music and dance about as dancing is scientifically known to lift moods.
- Go outside, ground yourself and be in nature, a short walk can give you a different outlook on what is going on.
- Hug and cuddle, there is nothing like it when you are feeling blue. Don’t be afraid of asking for a big hug from friends or family. Might be a bit odd of a complete stranger walking down the street, but hey you never know stranger things have happened. Don’t forget stroking your dog or cat is also good for you on your blue days.
When I do all of that and nothing is shifting it I give myself permission to sleep and go to bed, with the intention set that when I wake I am in a more upbeat and positive mood. It has never failed me yet.
Be aware of course we are in times of great shifts and changes with energy; you will be affected by them even if you are not aware. Universal shifts can send us sideways for no reason so staying grounded is more important than ever.
The most important thing you can do those is ask your Angel to help you. Not just on the blue days but every day. You will find when you do the blue days will become less and happiness and inner peace will be the default mood setting.
