How it all started

It was 12 years ago now that I started my spiritual business and I have so much to share on this on what you should do and not do.  Quite honestly, I probably should have started it sooner but I was confused, scared and unsure how to go about it.

The fact is people often ask how long have I been spiritual?  The answer is forever.  I have always had a longing to learn as much as I can about these things, but often felt judged and not taken seriously.  After all, “woo woo” is often frowned upon, it certainly was when I was much younger.

Thankfully, now it is more accepted and quite honestly, without it, I don’t even want to think what my life would be like.

I have always dabbled and done readings, people have always gravitated to me for guidance and help.  Even if I didn’t know where the answers used to come from back then.  I had a pack of trusty Tarot Cards and pendulum but, not many people knew as I was not confident with it all back then.

Why did it all change?

Back in 2000 I got divorced and was no longer a stay-at-home mum.  I started working at Social Services taking new referrals and training as a counsellor.  It was ok but I hated not being at home for my family. As a single parent, always having to re-mortgage to pay off my credit card, not because I was living a lavish lifestyle but just getting by bringing up two children on my own.

I was playing around with Law of Attraction back then and wondering what would be really possible, long story short I took a huge gamble.  I sold my home and anything of value and bought a B&B in Windermere so I could be a stay-at-home mum again.  It all worked wonderfully for some years until I got sick.  I had a huge asthma attack that took me 6 months to recover from.

My B&B days were over.  I had no income and had to find a new home for me and the children.  It was a very dark period.  You can read more about it in my book Do I have an Angel? You can buy my book here if you don’t yet have a copy.

In that time of recovery all I could do was meditate, so much guidance came through. I was told to start my shop called Mystic Moon in Windermere.  “The Upstairs” as I call them told me exactly what shop it was to be and what to sell.  Sourcing everything was so simple it was like everything just found me, so much ease and flow – I knew it was right!

From viewing the shop to opening it was 2 weeks and I opened it on 12 December 2009.

Stepping out of the closet.

Honestly, it was scary stepping out of my spiritual closet and I had to deal with judgement.  However, my connections became so strong I didn’t care what others thought about my “woo woo” life.  I knew it was them that were missing out. One thing I learnt was what others think of me is none of my business.  I focused on my own lane and followed my guidance one step at a time.

I started by just doing my readings and selling spiritual goodies. I can’t say it has always been easy.  I kept the shop for 3 years then took my business all online and started to grow it into other areas such as workshops, events and trainings, plus write my books which turned me into an International Best-Selling Author.

Some days I wondered why I was doing it.  That was before I really started trusting my inner guidance.  I had a dream and desire to be living my purpose, to feel fulfilled and to make a difference in this world.

Helping someone have a lovely weekend away was nice but it is nothing in comparison to changing their life by giving them some channelled guidance in one of our sessions.

My business is now a limited company, it has been VAT registered for years because the income level is so high.  I am proud to tell you it is a multiple 6 figure business that has supported me and my children very well.

It is a far cry from my life of living on benefits, up to my neck in debt. Most of all I am doing what I came here to do.

They do say when you find something you love you never work another day in your life. I certainly would agree with that.

So What’s Next?

I am very excited as my business grows to the next level now…

Truth is, I don’t want to keep doing readings, but I have enquiries all the time and would love to forward them to someone who is as passionate about Angels as me. So, I have decided to offer training for Angel card readers who want to start their own business. There will also be opportunities to work as a certified, approved Angel Mystic Card Reader through my website.

I want to be clear, I am only interested in training people to work under my name that follow the same spiritual ethics and protocol around business as I do.
