Am I crazy?
I know this might sound crazy but I am actually grateful for the time I maxed out my credit card!
When I am helping people get better at manifesting money, one thing I always recommend is being grateful for the facility of credit if you are wanting to reduce your debt.
It is a much better energy to work with rather than hating and worrying about the debt. You have to be grateful for whatever you used the credit for.
My debt was mostly just about living and keeping our heads above water a single parent trying to make ends meet. I am so grateful for the credit card company giving me that opportunity as the other option is not worth thinking about.
It was not something I could continue with though, I knew the only only way things could change is if I found help in learning a new skill and changing my mindset.
How did I max out my credit card?
We are always learning and I am a great believer in getting support when we feel weak in something. For me and the time I maxed out my credit card was when I felt I needed to learn how to sell in my business. I already knew I was good at what I did, I loved my work, but sales felt icky!
I had been following a coach of a while and enjoy her messages she shared, her free stuff was great and then one day she opened up a coaching opportunity and I knew I had to do it.
The only way I could make it happen was use the rest of my credit I had on my credit card. It made me feel super vulnerable as I kept thinking what if I need it to pay other bills. Arhhhh! I also knew that I had to make it work. It gave me the incentive to go 110% in with whatever she asked me to do.
Did it work?
Hell yes!
I still look back on my coaching with Carly with such gratitude, she taught me to learn to love sales. This made my business grow beyond my expectation.
From that one investment of getting support, working on me meant I have never used a credit card again. I now have zero balances in fact I don’t even have one anymore.
All because I invested in me where I needed support. I am not saying everyone should max out credit cards but you should certainly always be grateful for facilities like that if you need them.
