So I’ve always been a doggie lover and grown up with a dog around for as long as I can remember. So to me it always felt right that I would have my own puppy one day when I had my own home.

When Dan and I moved into our first home, which was rented I knew we weren’t going to be able to get a puppy for a while as our tenancy stated no pets.

I was really missing living at home and having a dog around. The days I spent in our home alone I found very lonely without a furry companion. After weeks of researching breads and hours and hours spent dreaming and visualising my little buddy I decided no matter what I was going to put my plan into action.

Dan was on the same page (which is really important with manifesting) and although we did have different views on breed It didn’t take much convincing to come to the conclusion we wanted a Cavapoo.

It was a Sunday evening and I said to Dan, “I’m going to try my luck and email the landlord and see if we can get a puppy”. Dan was 100% onboard and thought it was a great idea. I sent the email and instantly felt excited. I started visualising us with our new puppy and Dan and I starting discussing dogs names, where it would sleep, who would take it to work etc. I had no doubt that this wasn’t going to happen. I really wanted it and I was handing it over to the Universe to deliver. Within 20 mins I had a reply from our landlord who said he was more than happy for us to get a puppy! We were ecstatic!

We spent the rest of the working week on a puppy search, looking up reputable breeders, doing so much research. I checked with my boss that it was ok for me to bring a puppy to work which she was perfectly happy with and had always wanted a ‘shop dog’.

I signed us up for a space on puppy classes. I even went shopping and bought a bed and bowls etc. This may all seem a little fast and premature but when I believe in something I don’t hold back. I knew I had to trust that the perfect puppy was coming my way. My mum often mentions about feeling and acting as if you already have the thing you are wanting to manifest. So I that’s exactly what I did.

We went and viewed a few puppies before we met our little fluffy beast. I remember the first place we went and oh it makes my heart hurt just thinking back to it. As soon as we arrived my intuition was telling me it wasn’t right. I’m sure it was a puppy farm and as much as I wanted to scoop up all the puppies and take them home I knew it wasn’t right as that was encouraging the farm to keep breeding.

Then Sunday came so exactly a week since I emailed our landlord. Dan and I had several viewings booked for up and down the country. Of we went and we were beyond excited. I knew I’d be returning home with my little sidekick today I could sense it.

We arrived at this ladies house and were taken in to meet the puppies. She only had 2 left a girl and a boy and we had our hearts set on girl which we had arranged to view. Dan and I spent a long amount of time sat on the floor playing with these 2 beautiful pups and I was instantly drawn to the little boy. He was full of character, he was so keen to play with us and he was incredibly cute! The lady left the room to let us chat in private and I was so nervous that Dan had fallen in love with the girl.

I remember asking my Angels to help us as I didn’t want us to feel torn between the 2. I waited for Dan to say something and he said “What do you think love?” Before I could stop myself the words were already out “I think she’s lovely but I’ve fallen in love with this little boy, it just feels right and I was instantly drawn to him”.

Dans face lit up and it was then I realised he’d felt the same. We didn’t even have to think twice and before we knew it the paperwork was done. The lovely lady gave us reals of information and tips and an amazing puppy pack to settle him in.

We had a hour and a half drive home which gave us time to consult our names list. As we were expecting to get a girl there was only a couple of names that worked for a boy. We decided on his name as it matched his colour perfectly!
