Feeling Lucky

As a daily glasses wearer, I like to have lots of pairs to ring the changes.  Though more recently my prescription has changed and last year I got a new pair, whilst they are great and give me clear vision.  It has got a bit boring wearing the same ones all the time.

I decided to manifest a new pair as I like to play with the Universe and manifest things of less importance to build my manifesting muscle.  So a new pair of glasses seem a good choice.

Decide what you want

A few days later after I had decided to manifest a new pair I was inspecting my glasses when I noticed some of the frame was wearing.  Next time I was in town I took them in to the opticians and asked could they do anything about them.  Not before visualising how it would feel to walk out of the shop with a new pair. They looked at my notes and said I had got them a year ago, but cutting a long story short they were will to let me pick a new frame free of charge.

I couldn’t quite believe it and was not sure it was really happening I kept thinking they were going to say pay for the lenses, but as soon as that thought popped into my head I replaced it with a thought of no charge.

I found a pair I liked and they said they would ready next week.  When I returned to collect them whilst I was pleased I was getting a new pair, I was also aware I was no further on in building my collection of lots of glasses with my correct prescription.

Don’t block yourself

Well think the Angels worked overtime on this one, as when I went to collect imagining I would have to hand my old pair in as they had gone faulty so I would be coming out with just my new pair and still only one pair to wear with the correct prescription.

I was so surprised when they said I could keep my old pair and by the way here is a voucher for another pair at half price!  Well I will be back let me tell you as I am certainly feeling lucky.

Focus on what you want

So what is the message in all of this, focus on what you want, don’t get stuck in the how it will happen.  I want to build my collection of my glasses and I have increased it by 100% with now the opportunity to grow it again by a further 50%.  I could have so easily blocked that and got a very different outcome.
