Why bother setting the intention?
If you want to get something done, how do you make it happen?
What gives you the motivation to finish the task?
How do you tell the Universe what you want?
To answer all these questions – I set the intention. I find it so useful and sometimes it even feels like a deadline to get things done by.
For the last 3 years my guides have been saying write your book….they even sent me a friend who worked in my shop one day a week so I could get it done. That was over 2 years ago! But it just didn’t happen; my time would be used doing other things.
Then I decided I was going to set the intention like I did with all my other things. I set the intention to have fun and find joy in all I do every day. I set the intention to when working with clients that they can get the most out of our sessions. I set the intention to do most things, but for some reason I had never set the intention to write my book, or at least get it finished.
Sometimes I do wondered why even the most obvious things just slip our minds, but I like to look at the bigger picture, maybe the timing was not right until now. Maybe I had not learnt enough till now to produce by book.
Whatever the reason in July I set the intention that August would see the completion of my book. I have to say the first week went by with very little work but I am now pleased to announce it is finished and a day early at that!
Whilst I feel very proud, I know getting it published will be the next hurdle. But I also know if I set the intention, ask for help from my Angels it will all be done much easier than struggling on along on my own.
So next time you need to get something done, it might even be just clearing out a cupboard that you really don’t want to do, but set the intention, give yourself a deadline and ask your Angels to motivate you. I just hope that the time they choose for you to get your job done isn’t at 4 am daily like it was for me!
